Salt them yourself!
Little tip that was shared with me via my Mom about buying nuts - rather than buying the pre-salted (and often roasted in oil) nuts from the grocery store, buy them unsalted and unroasted. When you get them home, put them on a cookie sheet and sprinkle with sea salt and bake in the oven at low temperature for approximately 10 minutes . Cool and store in an airtight container - not only will they taste fresher but you're also avoiding all of the gross oils that presalted nuts are usually coated it. Great way to add healthy fats to your diet - sprinkled on salads, as a snack or with a healthy salty/sweet dessert (try pecans on the 3 minute flourless chocolate cake....amazing...for real :)
