As a kid I LOVED peanut butter and banana sandwiches.....so it figures as an adult I'd still love those flavours together. Try this smoothie out if you want to relive those awesome lunches that your mom used to pack for you when you were a kid :)
1.5 cups of unsweetened almond milk
2 tbsp of salted peanuts
approx 3" of frozen banana chunks
1/8 tsp sea salt
EITHER: 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder w/ 1/2 tbsp natural peanut butter
OR 1 scoop of peanut butter protein powder
1) Blend peanuts in your magic bullet until you have very small pieces.
2) Add in the rest of ingredients and blend until smooth
3) Drink up! And if you're lucky, at the bottom of the smoothie a few peanut pieces will be waiting for you to make that last sip AMAZING.....
This makes a great breakfast smoothie because of the higher fat content - it'll help keep you full through that morning slump!
