Workout of the day....do you have 20 minutes? then you have no excuse!

Today was a crazy wild busy day....it would have been very easy to skip my workout. BUT I had 20 minutes. So I got down to my condo gym, ramped up the intensity and did two pretty tough sets. The video below is a quick snapshot of the start of the second one. I alternated between KB swings and full-touch burpees - starting with 3, then 6, then 9...etc until 10 minutes were up. By the end I was sweating up a storm.

You don't have to do this type of workout with burpees/KB swings like I did - just choose exercises that will work with the equipment you've got. Even if you don't have any equipment, your own body will work just fine! Some ideas you could try are: jump squats, push-ups, mountain climbers & plyo lunges - and if you have dumbbells at your disposal you could try 3-point rows, push-presses or weighted pikes. The options are endless :)

These types of workouts are awesome when you're really short on time. Each time I do them I try to increase how far I get through the exercises by the time the 10 minutes are up. If you find yourself thinking you can't squeeze in a workout in the time you have, think again and give this a try!
