Herbing up my breakfast :)

A great client of mine, Kat, gave me a new idea for my breakfast omelettes!

Using the pre-crushed basil you can buy in the produce section of the grocery store she made an omelette with egg whites, baby spinach, feta and a 'squirt' of basil. I tried it this morning and it was AMAZING! A great way to add flavour without many added calories or salt to your meal!
Buying these herbs is a great way to always keep them on hand. So often, you need an herb for a recipe but you don't use a lot of it so it will go bad before you can use it all! These tubes are a great way to keep herbs for all of your recipes - and although they are more expensive than the plain herbs, when you think about how much you'll save by not having to buy the herbs over and over again, they really are a cost savings!
