Positive (and not negative) Body Image can lead to weight loss? Who knew :)

Back in the summer I read this great study about how positive self body image leads to more improved body composition changes than when people have negative self body image. I printed it out for my clients...but they had a tough time believing it. Just today, Precision Nutrition posted an article talking all about this study and I wanted to share it and try to make the point again. The overall take home message to help you with fat loss? Stop caring solely about how your body looks - get out there and enjoy the world and care about things other than how your ass looks in a pair of jeans; Every time you think of one of your flaws - don't stop thinking about yourself until you've identified 2 strengths of yours; eat slowly and consciously - don't just shove food into your mouth without thinking about it; and MOVE!!! get out there and move your body.
