Ginger Sesame Broccoli

Getting bored with your veggies? Here's a quick recipe to add some Asian-cuisine inspired flair to your meal. It would pair really well with a pork tenderloin or grilled chicken.

Ginger Sesame Broccoli
makes 2 side servings
Ingredients:
2 cups of broccoli florets
1/2 tbsp of sesame oil
1 tsp of grated fresh ginger (or you can use the fresh pureed tubes)
2 tsp of soya sauce (I use the gluten-free variety)
1/2 tsp of garlic powder
1/2 tsp ground cumin

1) Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2) Toss broccoli with oil, garlic, ginger, cumin & soya sauce until covered.
3) Place on parchment paper in a single layer and bake in the oven for approximately 30 minutes (the tips of the broccoli should be browned and slightly crispy)

  1. Will definitely try this...Myron hates broccoli and says he'll eat it if I make it more interesting. This might just do the trick!!
