Post-workout I'm often at the gym and don't have much time to eat a real meal before I start seeing clients. I have no problem pre-mixing up a protein shake - but too often I skimped out on my post-workout starchy carbs (which is not only not good for my workout, but since that's the only time I really eat them, I was missing out!) Today I decided to amp up my protein shake so that post-workout I could have it all!!

Ingredients:
6 medium strawberries
1/3 frozen banana
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1/8 cup cooked quick oats
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
handful of ice
Combine all ingredients together and blend!
Not only does this shake taste great, but its perfect for post workout or when you don't have time for a full meal and the texture of the oats and banana make it amazingly creamy and thick! Highly recommended :)

Glad you like it buddy! I also have a great one that uses steamed sweet potato....sounds weird but is awesome. Keep your eyes open for it :)
