Prosciutto-wrapped Asparagus Spears

I love a good easy snack recipe for when I have to go to a friends place for dinner and bring an appetizer or when someone stops by our place on short notice. This recipe is gluten-free, low carb and low cal - not to mention it tastes amazing!





Prosciutto-wrapped Asparagus Spears

Ingredients:
6 asparagus spears cut in half
6 thin slices of prosciutto, cut in half lengthwise
12 thin slices of hard parmesan

1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2) Lightly steam/blanch asparagus
3) Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
4) Place a slice of parmesan on the asparagus and roll up with prosciutto. Repeat for all asparagus.
5) Bake in the oven for approximately 20 minutes.
6) Serve!


Calories per asparagus wrap 31; 1.6g fat; .5g carb; 3.3g protein.
