Getting back from vacation, it always feels good to get back into your regular eating habits - because even if you're eating clean out at restaurants, there is something nice about making breakfast in your own house again! Today because I'm off to work for most of the day, I made a quick and tasty smoothie. My fav part is at the end of the smoothie where you get all the bits of apple that weren't blended in! So so yummy!
Apple Cinnamon Smoothie
makes 1
- 3/4 scoop of whey isolate protein powder (I used vanilla - but it's also great with peanut butter protein!)
- 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2-3/4 tsp cinnamon
- 2/3 grated apple
- .5 cups of plain fat free greek yogurt
1) Microwave apple until soft in the microwave (approx 30-40 seconds)
2) Combine all ingredients in magic blender and mix up until smooth!
3) Enjoy!
