I don't usually get into the whole 'groupon' thing, but a couple of weeks ago one appeared that caught my eye. It was for organic fruits and vegetables to be delivered to your house for half price. Done deal! I got it to save for that 'rainy day' when I was out of fresh veggies and didn't have time to get to the grocery store. It would be great for anyone who works long hours and often finds themself making the excuse for poor eating habits that they 'didn't have time to shop'. It's also a great option to get you to try lots of different vegetables that you might not ordinarily buy - and adding variety to your meals is something that is really important if you want to keep at it for the long haul and really enjoy what you're eating!
I redeemed my groupon tonight and I am more than impressed! I'm going to do a bit more research into this and find the best deals around - anyone who knows or uses a service like this, please share your info! It's pricier than buying in the store - but great if you have trouble getting there often enough for fresh and organic fruits and veggies. SO excited. I never would have thought that a big box o' produce could make me smile like this :)
